What was in your grocery cart today?

Lovin this old brick GROCERY STORE....
Wonder what prices would have been back when this was the new store on the block?

Hope everyone is having a great week end!  I was busy in the kitchen today.  Made a pan of brownies to go along with some freezer meals I had made up for a friend who is a new mommy.   I delivered my bag of goodies and met the cute little miss B.  She is adorable and mom and dad are very pleased with their sweet little girl.

Made it to the gym,,,to work off the brownies I just had to sample before giving some away...and also hit the grocery store.   BBQ chicken pizza made it to the menu for supper as chicken breasts were on sale.
Fired up my little George Foreman grill and got busy grilling up the chicken,,,some to use for the pizza and some to go in the fridge for salad, pasta dish, whatever I decide.  I like when I get organized and have stuff ready to go.

Here are a couple more shots of the grocery store we found in Medicine Hat
Makes you wonder who F. Scudder was?

So, what is your favorite recipe to make for a quick meal?
We could have a blogger recipe swap.
Have a great evening everyone!

Your home made pizza looks delicious! I love the old painted brick ads on the grocery stores. "Cash only". That would be hard today wouldn't it? Have a great week. Pamela

Mmm, I can almost smell the pizza from here. It looks so good. I baked cinnamon buns yesterday so my husband is very happy!

Wonderful brick building - full of history, if it could only talk.
