I think the city is prepared for what lies ahead, people have been evacuated, sandbags put around, the red cross ready....now we just wait.
Our thoughts are with so many people that have lost everything in the 2013 Southern Alberta floods over the last few days.

A huge thanks to all the city workers, volunteers and people who have been working around the clock to prepare for the flood waters that are suppose to peak here on Monday morning...

I saw the news footage of the flooding in Calgary and it was shocking.
Be prepared for the worst and hope it doesn't happen. Head for the high ground NOW.
Thankfully we are miles from the river and our property is not in danger. We will just be available to help in any way we can though.
We watched the news coverage last night...how Medicine Hat is preparing for the worst. Thinking of all those in the path of the flood waters today!
Those skies are really ominous Dawna. Praying the waters won't rise and will sail on by, although I know that means the next town down the river system will get it. So sad. Blessings to you!
