Street Scenes Photo Challenge

It is time for another photo challenge over at Donna's.  At first I thought I wouldn't have much to contribute as far as street scenes,,,,but when I got looking back at my photos I had quite a few that will work for today's challenge.  I had a hard time deciding,,,so I hope you don't mind if I share a few extras.

Of course, the streets in Europe are a photographers dream!  and the water streets of Venice are even better!

This is photo Ben took and the street has part of the fortress wall....

I would love to go back to Venice!
With school trips for each of the boys and Ben and Darrell's trip to Europe, Darrell and I really need to get to Europe together!!

A parade on city streets is always fun!

Little cowboys and gals waiting for the parade!

A fun day to ride!

The streets of Fernie,,,headin to the chocolate shop with some our favorite peeps!

But for me, the best roads are the country ones and the road that always leads home.

Have a great week end everyone!

Linking to the party!

Dawna, these are really beautiful photos for the street scenes challenge. I love the Venice ones. The ones of the people waiting for the parade are so cute! The last photo looks like a warm day in the early spring - one we are all longing for it seems. A really nice selection!

Amazing! All are perfect for this challenge. My favorite, though, is the first. I even thought for a moment that the painter was showing you the very scene he had painted on the most featured canvas. But no. The colors are marvelous, the shapes, the composition. It's award-winning!

Wow! You rose to the challenge with beautiful photos and a great post. I love the way you ended...with the country lane home. Very well done! Amazing photos!

What great photos you've taken, Dawna. Love the clear crisp colours of Venice. And the last shot with the little ones on pick-a-back is so sweet. Excellent work.

I love all your street scenes - what a feast for us!
They all 'tell a story' which was what Donna asked us to do!
I love Europe and you’ve got me thinking it's time I headed back to Venice - it's my favourite city in the world.
Your photo captures the "water street scene" beautifully.

BUT... I have to say your last image is my favourite - a piggyback ride to the best place of all - HOME!

I'm following you now Dawna.
Hugs
Shane

Gorgeous photos! There's just something about seeing photos of life on the street.

You are forgiven for adding some extra photos to the post because they were all positively delightful! I agree that European cities are a treasure trove for street scenes. You captured some lovely one! And then you topped it all off by showing us some classic scenes that showcase down-to-earth Americana. The parade scenes - precious! OMG, the little kids lined up with their cowboy hats and boots made me flat out giggle. The family heading down to the shop that features chocolate, fudge, and hot chocolate - charming. And the last two scenes are pure country goodness. This wasn't a difficult challenge for you because you aced it!

Delightful street scenes, and I love the kiddies on the ponies.

They are all lovely, my favourite is the one with the sunset and the snow laying beside the road! Hope that you have a good weekend. xx

My favourite is the one of the kids riding piggy back! And I also like the kids sitting on the curb waiting for the parade.
