Something vintage...

It is time for Photo Feature Friday over at  a Rosy Note.  I am enjoying these different challenges as it forces me to get clickin!!   The hat in my photo belonged to Darrell's dad, Otto Motz.  He passed away about 20 years ago already.  We sure have missed him being part of our boys lives growing up.   Somehow, this hat ended up at our house.  The boys would wear it for the odd picture when they were little, but other than that it was kept in a safe place.

The books are from my rummage sale finds,
the chair is from our flip it house project

I played around with some of the textures in Picnik .

I found some old pictures of dad and tried to get them
in the photo as well.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to see the other great photos at

You have some nice still life photos. What makes them all the more special is that they have a personal meaning. Don't you just love Picnik?!

Looks like your boys are really living life!
