Well, I am not quite ready to decorate for Christmas yet, but I have been drawn to some of the pretty turquoise colors that are out there. I am a pretty traditional Christmas girl, but thought that doing up a few "wintery" things in the kitchen might be fun. So, hope you feel cozy and warm as you stop by my modern country kitchen today :)
A gift certificate from friends for "Home Sense"
came in very handy!!
The silver "JOY" tree was another Winners find..
I bought a white wreath at Michaels and then just added the
Christmas balls and hung it with a ribbon.
How about you? Are you getting the house ready for Christmas yet?!
Happy decorating!

Looks great. I want to do something alittle outside my comfort zone this year too. Have fun outside the box. Lisa
Pretty~pretty!
I love the colors ;)
So fun to add Xmas to the kitchen.
Enjoy.
Looking lovely. Don't you just love HomeSense!
Beautiful decor, Dawna! The colors are fabulous. I can't believe I've held out on Christmas decorating this long...Friday can't come fast enough!
Such pretty colours and lots of sparkle. The white wreath is really special.
I'm holding out until December 1 to start decorating. But I'm thinking about what I'm going to do. I tend to go mostly naturals, but we'll see what's in the boxes!
You have some very pretty decorations and I love the turquoise and lime green look with the white! I have started decorating and hope to finish all but the tree by Thursday. I love sparkley and vintage decor. Have fun with your decorating! Pamela
I was just telling my mom that I think turquoise is going to be "the" Christmas color this year! Yours looks great!!
SO pretty!! Would LOVE it if you would link this up at my turquoise lovin' party going on right now! (also doing red for the holidays) http://www.sweetlittlegals.com/2011/11/turquoise-lovin-14.html#comment-form I think you linked up at the photo swap before...
I love your Christmas decorations. I start decorating the day after Thanksgiving. Your kitchen is very pretty. I'm now a follower
Your decorations are gorgeous! don't you just love Home Sense? Your house does look very warm and inviting.
I am going to go with Silver, White and Turquoise in some areas this year also -- I love that combo and while it's different from my 'usual' -- I'm going to go for it! Love the vases with the marbles and candles in them! Your arrangements are lovely!
Everything looks so festive and bright!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh...it is so pretty over here! You have inspired me to get decorating.
I love turquoise for Christmas - maybe because it has that icy-blue feel but it is just pretty! I love your decorations!
