Friday Fences and Carrying on the Peaceful Prairie theme

This is a long forgotten playground just a few miles from the farm we used to live at.  Some old, forgotten play ground equipment, and an old section of fence.  Swings blowing in the wind instead of the sound of children playing are the sounds you will hear at this peaceful prairie playground.

Life was simple, you went outside to play, without the thought of checking your facebook page or sending a text.  I kinda miss those days .....

Hope you enjoy the prairie playground  :)

I am sure many kids at fun blowing these puffy seeds around

My favorite shot of a sunflower, the color turned out so pretty!
I love sunflowers, and they are a reminder that fall weather is around the corner...

Posting to the Friday Fences  over at Jan and Jerry's

Have a great week end everyone!
Thanks for stopping by the country.

That was some of the ways we had to entertain ourselves. Now days, tech stuff has taken over.

The prairie playground looks so enchanting. And love the rugged art of the fence.

I love your pictures. That playground reminds me of something out of Little House on the Prairie.

Beautiful series. I love your fence shot. The abandoned playground has a kind of eerie charm about it.

Such gorgeous photos! I love the first ones of the prairie playground. You don't see teeter totters much these days.

Wonderful scenes full of nostalgia. Those teeter totters looked like ones from long ago - now they are metal.
The last image is stunning. Makes me want to go find some fences to photograph.

Vinyl fence also known as plastic fence, is a durable alternative to wood. A plastic fence has better weather ability, is lower maintenance and does not need to be replaced.
