I have found that there are times when my produce will go bad cause I haven't been diligent at getting those smoothies made. A friend posted on FB about doing up freezer packets for your smoothies, so you just have to grab a bag from the freezer, add your liquid and you are good to go!
Yesterday I made a trip to Costco and purchased a big bag of spinach, mango, blueberries, some fresh strawberries, bananas and came home to prep the grab n go freezer bags.
I should have taken a picture before they froze, the color looks so pretty. I even added a tablespoon of yogurt right in, even thought I would try freezing a spoon of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon right into the frozen mix. Had one this morning for breakfast and it was easy peasy!
Have a great week end and bottoms up on those fruits and veggies!

I have a Vita mix, don't use it like I should simply because it makes such a mess getting all those veggies, and fruits together! This is a great Idea, one I am going to use, thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend!
Great idea! I don't have a vitamix but a blender should work I imagine.
What kind of liquid do you use?
I've heard of these Vitamix machines. I only have a blender to make smoothies and it's fine for the few that I do make. It's a nice way to get your fruit and veggies in the diet in winter. Enjoy!
Great idea for being prepared and ready for when you want something quickly and making sure that there is no waste!! Well done you. xx
Sounds like a splendid idea for juices and veggie broths...
Great idea! My Bosch blender isn't quite a Vitamix, but does a pretty good job.
Great idea! I purchase from Costco also and sometimes things do go bad before we've used it all...thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Cindy
