Mosaic Monday

We had a pleasant day here on the prairies.  After church I took my camera and went for a drive....no particular destination in mind, just thought I would drive a ways and see what I could see!!

There are alot of old farmsteads on the prairies.  Abandoned and forgotten, I often wonder what the story is behind them.  I took some pictures of some barns today, but I will save that for another post.  It was interesting though, in the sea of green grass in one old yard, I found one purple iris showing off its great color!  I discovered this a little early, as you can see that there are lots of buds around it that will soon burst forth their color.

I haven't posted a Mosaic Monday picture for awhile, so I will include that tonight and call it a day!

Don't you think beyond this cottage door, you would find a pretty table set for tea!

Have a great week everyone!

Take a look at all the other great pictures at Mosaic Monday.
