I enjoy this cozy corner of our open concept kitchen/dining room area. For anyone new to my blog, I thought I would show you some before n afters and some of the ways I have decorated for the seasons.
This is how the room looked when we first looked at the house
Lots of work removing all those tiles!!
So glad that job is behind us!
Removing the window and getting a visual for the fireplace
Here are some pictures of ways I have decorated in the past

I do like that woodsy look that you did last year. In fact, I pinned it as inspiration for my own mantel this year. I like reusing the stuff I already have rather than purchase new all the time. But if I find something I like, I'll definitely get it. Will look forward to seeing what you come up with this year.
You wouldn't know it was the same house Dawna! It is gorgeous now and your fireplace is so beautiful. I like that the mantel and surround is ample in size. Your mantle-scapes are beautiful. Can't wait to see what you do for Christmas! Enjoy the weekend.
Can't wait to see what you come up with Dawna. I know it will be wonderful!
What a very lovely mantel! Can't decide which version I like best, but they are all beautiful. Thanks for linking up at Create - Share - Inspire. Hope we'll get to see more of your lovely projects.

I love your woodsy mantel too
DO you hang stockings by the fire too?
I love each and every mantel!
Just stopping by to say I hope that you are enjoying a wonderful long holiday weekend.
May you have good food, friends and family.
